Mini-Story 01: My Classmates
Reading: This is my classroom, and these are my classmates. My best friend’s name is Andrew. He is writing on the blackboard. My other friend, Amy, is very funny. She is talking and telling jokes to Bradley. They aren’t listening to the teacher. The kid in the front row is throwing a paper airplane. He is always misbehaving. The teacher is looking at the map, so she doesn’t see the airplane. I’m standing near the window looking outside. It’s a beautiful day. I wish I could go outside right now.
Vocabulary to learn:
– verbs and expressions:
- these are my classmates- estes/esses são meus colegas
- He is writing on the blackboard – Ele está escrevendo no quadro
- She is talking – ela está falando (talk = falar)
- She is telling jokes – ela está contando piadas (tell = contar)
- She doesn’t see the airplane – Ela não vê o avião [de papel].
Answer the questions OUT LOUD (responda em voz alta). Listen to the audio at least 10 times total. (escute o áudio pelo menos 10 vezes). Não faça os exercícios sem assistir o vídeo e entender as instruções.
