Esta expressão “Give it a go” é uma maneira de falar “I’m going to try” ou uma escrita mais formal com “give it a try” ou seja: Eu vou tentar. Não precisa traduzir ao pé da letra pois é uma expressão – se você traduzir ficaria algo como “vou dar uma ida” o que não faz muito sentido -. Então segue um exemplo de diálogo: (clique ou passe o mouse na fala para ver a tradução)
A: Hi dude!
B: Hi dude! What’s up?
A: I’m so sick today, I have a headache. And how about you?
B: I’m fine, You can try to rest.
A: Yeah, I’ll give it a go.
